Estate Caretaking

Our estate caretakers work on our multi-storey and deck access properties to keep them safe, clean and in good condition. And they manage our CCTV system too. The teams also fix and repair issues or damage that they find on their daily checks.

The exact work caretaking teams do depends on the neighbourhood and the type of property they’re looking after.

This can include checking that laundry equipment is working, cleaning lifts, inspecting play areas and carrying out fire risk inspections.

The teams provide an around-the-clock service.

Security and CCTV

The estate caretakers regularly patrol neighbourhoods to make security checks.

They also manage the Association’s CCTV system 24 hours a day, working closely with Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service when needed.
